Spring Indecisiveness

OK, Seattle, I don’t want to alarm you, but there seems to be something wrong with the sky right now. It’s all… blue. With a big yellow thing in it. I don’t think it’s anything to panic about, but it’s probably time to break out your sunscreen (and check your expiration dates!) and buy a new pair of sunglasses. And start grumbling, because it’s not supposed to last through the weekend.

In other news, how are we feeling about pie this week? Still fans? Good, that’s what I like to hear. I know it’s looking like springtime out there today, but the cold and rainy weekend ahead has me thinking that a heartier pie might be in order this week. I’m going to make Caramel Apple! I think it’ll be a full-size pie, but who knows, maybe the changeable weather will have an effect on me too.

On a note thoroughly unrelated to pie, I was listening to KEXP this morning, as I do every morning, and basically all the time I’m home, and one of the sponsorship bumps mentioned a Bocce league! I can’t actually participate in that one, because it conflicts with pie-baking, but I so want to! I now deeply regret not registering for a Bocce set when Mr. Pie and I got married.
